PYRAMID

Our new IMPACT 1048-CPU cluster called Pyramid is now available !

Pyramid is composed of 131 Sun X2200 M2 servers, dual socket quad-core Opteron 2.2 GHz with 8GB of RAM; for a total of 1048 cores. The cluster can deliver a theoritical peak of 9.2 TFLOPS. The nodes are interconnected with InfiniBand.

    • 2x AMD quad core Opteron processor @ 2.2 Ghz (Model 2354, 95W, B3)
    • 4x 2GB Registered ECC DDR2-667 Memory
    • 500 GB SATAII Seagate Hard drives for compute nodes (128 nodes)
    • 2 X 1 TB SATAII Seagate Hard drives for head and server nodes (3 nodes)
