GWU Lattice QCD Lab

The Physics Department has recently dedicated a large computing resource to the study of strong-interaction physics by quantum chromodynamics. The GWU QCD Cluster has two queues, a red queue with 16 compute nodes, a green queue with 4 compute nodes, where each compute node is a dual quad-core Intel Xeon 2.33 GHz processor with 2 GB of memory and 80 GB of hard drive. The 160 cores in the cluster are interconnected via an Infiniband network.
