NSF Center for High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing (CHREC)

The mission of the NSF Center for High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing (CHREC) is to investigate, develop, and evaluate new concepts, methods, infrastructure, and tools in reconfigurable HPC and HPEC, from building-block devices to infrastructure to applications, and advance these technologies through research and education for the benefit of Center members, students, and the discipline at large. CHREC will be a consortium of universities and leading industry and government partners. Membership in the Center will include R&D groups from major aerospace and defense industries, federal agencies, major industry research labs, and national labs, strongly supported by equipment and tools provided to CHREC by leading vendor partners in the equipment, and tools markets.
