Can Korman

Can Korman earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1990. He is currently a Professor and also the chair in the Electrical & Computer Engineering department at GWU. His research interests include microelectronics, sensors and VLSI, magnetics, numerical modeling, semiconductor noise, stochastic modeling, and digital signal processing (DSP). He published over 70 articles in refereed journals and conference proceedings and his research is supported by NSF, NRL, NSA, and AOL grants in the areas of numerical modeling, microelectronics, MEMS & VLSI, sensors, home automation. He has been the chair of the IEEE Magnetics Society, Publicity since April 2003. He was also a member of the Editorial Board of the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics for 2003.
